Introduction

At MoneySolver (“MoneySolver,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), our mission is to help consumers navigate important financial decisions with confidence and clarity. We do this by providing trusted financial information, personalized guidance, and tools designed to help you find solutions that fit your unique financial needs.

When you use our websites, applications, or services and provide your Personal Information, we are committed to being transparent about how your information is collected, accessed, shared, and used by MoneySolver, our affiliates, service providers, partners, and other third parties.

This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we collect, how we collect and use that information, the parties with whom we may share it, and the measures we take to help protect your information.

What This Policy Covers

At MoneySolver, this Privacy Policy explains our privacy practices related to your access to and use of the MoneySolver Services and the MoneySolver Platform.

  • MoneySolver Services. When we refer to “MoneySolver Services” or “Services,” we mean the products and services made available and directly provided by MoneySolver, its subsidiaries, and affiliates through our websites, mobile applications, and other digital platforms. This may include, for example, debt relief, tax relief, credit, insurance, financial wellness, and related financial products and services.
  • MoneySolver Platform. When we refer to the “MoneySolver Platform” or “Platform,” we mean products and services offered by unaffiliated third-party partners through co-branded or referral arrangements where, with your consent, we may share your information with these partners and/or receive information from them. This may include, for example, certain financial products, partner offers, or promotional programs. When your information is shared with unaffiliated third-party partners, their privacy policies and practices may also apply.

Please note that certain MoneySolver products and services may be subject to privacy and information-sharing requirements under applicable federal and state laws, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”). By using and accessing the MoneySolver Platform and Services, you consent to receiving notices regarding your privacy and account information electronically, where permitted by law.

We encourage you to read this entire Privacy Policy carefully. By using the MoneySolver Platform and Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. Your use of the MoneySolver Platform and Services is also subject to the MoneySolver Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

We may collect Personal Information directly from you when you use the MoneySolver Platform and Services — for example, when you register to become a member, request to prequalify for a third-party credit card or loan product, request your TransUnion credit report and/or score, link your third-party financial accounts, or fill out calculators, forms, or other fields.

Here are the types of Personal Information we may collect:

  • Contact and registration information. Information you provide when you sign up to become a member, activate an account, or upload information into the MoneySolver Platform or Service, including your name, title and honorifics, email address, mailing address, phone number, date of birth, username, and password.
  • Identity information. Information to verify your identity, including your name, date of birth, Social Security number, driver’s license number, government-issued identification, or similar information.
  • Vehicle information. Information you provide when you are interested in an auto loan, are interested in selling your vehicle, or are interested in similar services, including your vehicle registration information and vehicle identification number.
  • Financial information. Financial information, such as your payment information (credit card information), bank account information, investments, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, financial goals, investing risk tolerance, or other similar types of information about your job or business. We also may collect third-party financial account information, such as an ID and password.
  • Demographic information. Information, including your age, gender, or other similar demographic information, when such information is relevant to a particular financial product or service you have requested.
  • User-generated content information. When you communicate with us, either by email, phone, or other means of communication, we also may collect the content of these communications, including but not limited to recordings of phone calls where permitted by law.
  • Device and contact data. Depending on the permissions you grant in your device settings, we may get access to certain device-related information.
  • Inferences about customer preferences and characteristics. We may infer from information provided by you, information collected directly from your browser or device, or from information obtained from third-party marketing database partners.

We do not store your third-party financial account ID or passwords. Instead, we securely pass this information to our third-party partners when you request services that require us to confirm your identity, when you request to prequalify for their products, and/or to provide you with access to your financial information on the MoneySolver Platform or Services.

Information Collected From Third Parties

When you use the MoneySolver Platform or Services, we may also receive information about you from unaffiliated third parties, including business partners, referral partners, advertisers, data providers, and service providers, where you have authorized such parties to share information with us. The type of information we collect depends on the third party involved and the permissions or authorizations you provide.

Examples of information we may receive from third parties include:

Consumer Reporting Agencies and Third-Party Platforms. At your direction, we may obtain credit reports, credit scores, or related information from consumer reporting agencies such as TransUnion, Experian, or Equifax. We may also receive information from third-party services that allow you to share information through application programming interfaces (APIs), such as social media or account integration services.

Financial Account Linking Providers. MoneySolver may offer features that allow you to link and monitor third-party financial accounts through the Platform or Services. By using any account-linking functionality, you authorize MoneySolver and its service providers to access the financial accounts you designate. We may use this information to evaluate eligibility for products or services, provide recommendations, personalize your experience, and improve our offerings. For additional information regarding how such providers collect and use your information, please review their applicable privacy policies. Information obtained through account-linking services may not constitute official records from your financial institutions.

Identity Verification Providers. We may work with third-party identity verification and fraud prevention providers to confirm your identity, validate the information you provide, and supplement your personal information. For example, these providers may verify your contact details, address information, or other identifying information.

Social Media and Content Platforms. If you access your MoneySolver account through a social media or third-party platform, we may receive certain information associated with that account, such as your name, profile information, or profile photo, subject to your privacy settings with that platform. In addition, if you interact with content associated with MoneySolver on social media platforms — including liking, sharing, or commenting on content — those platforms may share information with us consistent with their privacy practices and your account settings. We may also repost or reference publicly available content that references MoneySolver, the Platform, or the Services.

Publicly Available Information. We may collect information from publicly available sources, including government databases, public records, property records, assessor records, court filings, and publicly accessible social media platforms.

Information from Data Providers and Marketing Partners. We may obtain demographic information, household information, employment history, financial and asset-related data, purchasing interests, survey responses, and other marketing or consumer profile information from third-party information providers and data brokers. This information may help us better understand customer interests, personalize our Services, and improve marketing and product offerings.

The types of information we may automatically collect include:

Usage Information. We may collect information regarding your interactions with the Platform and Services, including the websites or pages visited immediately before and after accessing the Platform, pages viewed, features used, links clicked, and other actions taken within the Platform or Services. This may include information regarding the path you take through our websites or applications, as well as the dates, times, duration, and frequency of your visits and activities (sometimes referred to as “clickstream data”).

Location Information. We may collect general or precise geolocation information from your device when you access or use the Platform or Services, particularly through mobile devices or applications, subject to your device settings and permissions.

Device and Technical Information. We may collect information about the devices and technologies you use to access the Platform or Services, including your IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, mobile carrier, hardware and software configurations, language preferences, and related technical information.

Cookies & Other Technologies

When you access or use the MoneySolver Platform or Services, we may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your interactions with our websites, applications, and Services.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files containing limited amounts of information that are downloaded to your device when you browse websites or use web-enabled applications.

We may use the following types of cookies:

  • First-Party Cookies. These cookies are placed directly by MoneySolver and are used to support the operation, functionality, and performance of the Platform and Services.
  • Third-Party Cookies. These cookies are placed by third-party service providers or partners on our behalf and may be used for analytics, advertising, functionality, and social media integration purposes.

Cookies may remain on your device for different periods of time, including:

  • Session Cookies. These temporary cookies remain active only while your browser session is open and are generally used to support navigation, security, and technical functionality. Once you close your browser, these cookies are typically deleted.
  • Persistent Cookies. These cookies remain stored on your device for a longer period and are used for purposes such as remembering your preferences, maintaining login sessions, recognizing returning users, and improving the user experience.

Like many online service providers, MoneySolver may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the number of visitors to the Platform, pages viewed, time spent on pages, navigation patterns, interactions with features or content, and other usage statistics. This information helps us analyze performance, improve functionality, personalize your experience, and enhance the Services.

We generally categorize cookies as follows:

  • Non-Targeting Cookies. These cookies are used primarily for operational, analytical, security, and functional purposes. They help enable core website functionality, improve performance, and support features available through the Platform and Services.
  • Targeting or Advertising Cookies. These cookies may be placed by advertising partners and other third parties to help deliver advertisements that are more relevant to your interests. These cookies typically do not directly store personal information but instead rely on uniquely identifying your browser or device. If you disable these cookies, you may receive less personalized advertising and marketing content.

How to Control or Delete Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to manage or modify your cookie preferences through the browser’s settings or preferences menu. These settings may allow you to block, disable, delete, or otherwise control the use of cookies and similar tracking technologies on your device.

To learn more about how to adjust your browser settings, please refer to your browser’s “Help” feature or the online support documentation applicable to your specific browser and device.

Third-Party Web Beacons and Social Media Features

MoneySolver may include third-party advertising, analytics, social media integrations, or other third-party content within the Platform or Services. These third parties may use clear GIFs, pixel tags, web beacons, cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your interactions with the Platform and Services.

For example, third-party content providers may use these technologies to read or place cookies in your browser in connection with the display of advertisements or content on the Platform. We may also include third-party social media features or buttons, such as “like,” “share,” or similar integrations, which may allow third parties to collect information about your online activity even if you do not directly interact with those features.

MoneySolver may also work with third-party analytics, advertising, and marketing providers, including providers such as Google Analytics and similar service providers, to help us analyze usage of the Platform and Services, improve performance, provide targeted advertising, and better understand user behavior. These third parties may automatically collect clickstream data, device identifiers, browsing activity, and other information regarding your interactions across websites, applications, browsers, and devices using cookies and related technologies.

We and our third-party partners may use this information for purposes including:

  • Website and application analytics
  • Advertising personalization and measurement
  • Fraud detection and prevention
  • Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Facilitating business partnerships and integrations
  • Delivering advertisements and content tailored to your interests and preferences across devices and platforms

Where information is collected directly by third parties through their own tracking technologies, the collection, use, and disclosure of such information is governed by the applicable third party’s own privacy policies and practices, not this Privacy Policy.

Some third-party advertising and analytics providers may participate in industry self-regulatory programs such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) or the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”), which provide tools that allow you to opt out of certain forms of targeted advertising. You may learn more or exercise available opt-out rights by visiting:

You may also opt out of certain Google Analytics tracking features by visiting:

Because websites and mobile applications may use different tracking technologies, you may need to separately manage your preferences across browsers, devices, and applications. Many mobile devices also provide settings that allow you to limit or disable interest-based advertising within mobile applications. Please review your device settings for additional information.

You may also uninstall any MoneySolver mobile application using the standard uninstall functionality available through your mobile device or application marketplace. Please note that any opt-out preferences you select generally apply only to the specific browser or device from which you make the selection.

This may include the use of aggregated, anonymized, de-identified, pseudonymized, or otherwise processed information to improve system performance, functionality, accuracy, reliability, safety, and user experience.

Where appropriate, MoneySolver implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to help protect personal information processed through AI Tools. We also take commercially reasonable steps intended to minimize the use of directly identifiable Personal Information in connection with AI model training and evaluation activities.

AI-generated content, recommendations, responses, summaries, and other outputs are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Such outputs may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or outdated content and should not be relied upon as financial, legal, tax, accounting, investment, or other professional advice. If you do not agree to the processing of your information through AI-enabled features or technologies, you should discontinue use of those features and, where applicable, the Platform or Services.

MoneySolver does not use AI Tools as the sole basis for making legally binding or similarly significant decisions regarding eligibility for financial products, credit, lending, or related services. AI-generated outputs do not independently approve, deny, or otherwise determine a consumer’s eligibility for financial products or services.
